Before creating product attribute (taxonomy) terms, it is necessary to create/register the attribute (taxonomy) first. During the creation of a new attribute, you will encounter a new select field labeled “Type,” offering options such as Image, Color, Radio, Button, along with the default option, Select.

You can also update the Type field for already created attributes on the attribute edit page.
